JG AUG Highlights
The JG AUG is based on the innovative "bullpup" design which relocates the magazine and chamber far to the rear of the trigger assembly. This design allows for longer barrel length without increasing the overall length of the airsoft gun. True to the real Styr AUG firearm, the JG AUG airsoft gun uses a unique select-fire system to toggle between semi- and full-automatic. When the trigger is pulled half way, the JG AUG fires in semi-automatic mode. When the trigger is fully depressed, the JG AUG instantly switches to full-automatic mode. This feature eliminates the need for the operator to manually engage a fire selector mechanism, saving crucial seconds during high-intensity firefights. The JG AUG also includes an integral fore grip than can be adjusted to either a vertical or horizontal position.

Hop-up Adjustment ![]() The JG AUG features a cyndrilical hop-up system identical to those found on many Tokyo Marui models. Rotating the cylinder upward will inclrease the amount of hop-up; rotating downward will decrease hop-up. The hop-up adjuster is accessed through the mock ejection port on either the left or right side of the airsoft gun. The ejection port is opened by pulling back the cocking handle on the left hand side of the airsoft gun. After pulling the cocking handle all the way back, it can be locked into place by rotating it up into the locking slot. This feature allows the operator to adjust the hop-up cylinder without having to use one hand to keep the ejection port open. The JG AUG includes a rubber ejection port door that can be used to close either side of the hop-up chamber while the other is in use depending on the operator's preference. |
Battery Compartment ![]() The battery compartment for the JG AUG can be easily accessed by removing the rubber butt pad on the rear of the airsoft gun. To remove the pad, pinch each side of the pad while pulling. The best way to put the pad back on is to first seat the top and bottom of the pad, and then the sides. Make sure the pad is not obstructed by the battery wires. |
